DATA HANDLING DISCLOSURE

How your information moves through AHONIM

This page explains, in practical terms, how AHONIM receives, stores, processes, and protects the information you choose to share. It is meant to work alongside the Privacy Policy, using plainer operational language.

1. Information you provide

When you complete an AHONIM assessment, you may choose to provide:

  • Your name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Date of birth and, if known, birth time
  • Birthplace
  • Current location, if you choose to provide it
  • Your selected question, use case, or area of focus
  • Optional written responses or notes you choose to share

We ask only for information that supports delivery, storage, or improvement of your reflection experience.

2. How your data is stored

AHONIM stores assessment data in controlled application storage associated with a unique AHONIM ID. Stored records may include your submitted details, timestamps, generated reflections, unlock status, and related processing data needed to deliver the service.

This data is not intended for public access and is handled through restricted application workflows.

3. Who can access your information

Access is intentionally limited. Your information may be accessed by:

  • AHONIM systems that process and deliver your reflection
  • Authorized administrators where access is necessary for support, troubleshooting, payment verification, or deletion requests
  • Essential service providers where limited access is needed to support hosting, email delivery, analytics, backups, or payment processing

Payment card details are not stored by AHONIM. Payment processing is handled by trusted third-party providers.

4. Data retention

We retain assessment data so you can return to your AHONIM card and unlocked materials later. If you request deletion, we will remove stored assessment data and associated reflections, except where limited records must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or payment-related compliance.

5. Deleting your data

You may request deletion of your AHONIM data by emailing legal@ahonim.com.

  • Your stored assessment data and associated reflections will be removed from active application storage
  • Your reflections will no longer be available through the platform
  • Your email will be removed from mailing-list communications if you subscribed

Any retained backup or compliance records will be handled according to the limits and timing of our operational and legal obligations.

6. Automated processing

AHONIM uses automated processing to generate written reflections from submitted information. This may include analysis of birth data, timing inputs, and the context you choose to provide.

This processing is descriptive and interpretive. It is not diagnostic, and it does not make legal, medical, employment, credit, or similarly regulated decisions about you.

7. Security and protection of your information

We use reasonable technical and operational measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss. These measures may include access controls, secure hosting, encrypted connections, and restricted administrative access where appropriate.

No digital system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your information responsibly and to limit access where it is not needed.

8. How third-party services interact with your data

AHONIM relies on trusted third-party services for specific operational functions, such as:

Payment processing

Payment providers process transactions and handle payment details directly.

Email delivery

Email service providers may be used to send service messages, confirmations, or mailing-list updates.

Analytics and performance

Analytics or infrastructure providers may process limited technical and usage data to help us understand performance, reliability, and platform usage.

9. Your rights

You may request:

  • A copy of the information we store about you
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of your assessment data
  • Removal from mailing-list communications

Contact legal@ahonim.com for any of these requests.
